"I have worked with Natasha for over four years as NSW Sales Manager, Australand and National Director Residential for Colliers International. During this time I have found Natasha to be an outstanding operator who has built Red Leopard’s profile on the back of her reputation to deliver quality results for clients. I will continue to utilise Natasha’s skills across several Australand projects and recommend her to companies looking for a first class PR consultant."

Success Stories

Australand and Landcom

Australand

Australand is one of Australia’s major diversified property groups (listed on the Australian and Singapore stock exchanges). Landcom is the New South Wales government’s property development arm. Both companies are jointly marketing one of the largest communities in the North West – The Ponds. This $1.6 billion master-planned community features an 80 hectare bushland corridor as its central focus, surrounded by six man-made ponds.

  • Challenge

Red Leopard was appointed to raise the profile of The Ponds, highlighting the positive attributes associated with living in this community, eventually comprising over 3000 homes.

  • Approach

A comprehensive public relations strategy was developed that covered public relations activities in addition to organising a launch event for the project and a subsequent community family fun day.

Results

The Ponds is the fastest growing suburb in New South Wales and has achieved a phenomenal sales and growth rate within a four year time frame. More than 1600 land sales have already been secured with over 800 homes now occupied in the thriving suburb. The extensive media exposure combined with two successful events organised by Red Leopard have played an integral role in the suburb’s success. Notable achievements included:

  • Over 400 media articles featuring The Ponds in local, state and national newspapers, specialist trade publications were achieved in addition to TV news segments.

  • Sales leads were obtained from media articles about The Ponds.

  • The Ponds launch event attracted a crowd in excess of 4000 people from the local and broader Sydney areas.

  • The second community family fun day attracted thousands. Regarded as a great success, plans are underway to make it an annual event.

  • Sponsorship was secured for the fun day from Blacktown City Council, Blacktown Leisure Centre and Cumberland and Courier Newspapers.
