Property Planning Australia (PPA) is a respected independently owned and operated financial services company that offers unbiased property advice across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane markets. In 2009 the business acquired The Property School (TPS) which offered university endorsed property education courses. Both arms were effectively operating under a single company.

  • Challenge

    Red Leopard was appointed to conduct a workshop with PPA’s five directors to establish a consensus around the company’s strategic direction with the aim of further strengthening the PPA brand and its credibility. Marketing initiatives were also devised as an outcome of the workshop.

  • Approach

    Red Leopard developed a plan and conducted the workshop. A comprehensive report titled Towards A Commanding Market Presence was compiled from the analysis of workshop data and included recommendations relating to the future direction of the two companies. Red Leopard played a pivotal role in the implementation of key recommendations contained in the report with the most significant being the integration of both companies under one brand.

Results

Significant results were achieved as a direct consequence of the implementation of the report. Outcomes included:

  • Seamless integration of PPA and TPS, creating one powerful brand offering property related advice and education services.

  • Approximately 800 sales leads generated from the Home Buyer Shows in Melbourne and Sydney and more than 200 Property Plan meetings secured with company representatives.

  • A significant number of fee paying clients attended seminars after both Home Buyer Show events with many also signing up to participate in a subsequent Property Plan meeting.

  • Introduction of the Property Plan meeting marketing tool into the Home Buyer Shows, presentations, brochures, seminars and PPA website has generated hundreds of additional face-to-face appointments with company representatives.
